Join us for an introduction to herbal medicine based on the fall and winter seasons! This class will focus on building your relationship with herbal allies and learning season-based and practical medicine making skills. An herbal ally is a plant that can support our body, heart, and spirit with its medicine. We will be learning recipes, folk medicine, ancestral medicine, altar building, and ways to incorporate our allies into our day to day lives. Topics may include: Herbs for fire season & respiratory support, Building ancestral connections, Fall magic, Rest, and Food as medicine.
This class will focus on building our relationship with our herbal allies. Each class will focus in-depth on one or more herbal medicines and we will learn how they work both physically and energetically . We’ll learn recipes & other ways to incorporate the plants into our lives.

Cecemmana, our nine month herbal training program meets during the first weekend of each month. This past weekend started with an herb walk led by Kara Sigler at Briones. Our students learned how to identify local plants and wildflowers. There was also plenty of time to sit and meditate with the plants. Sticky money flower is a local wildflower. As a flower essence it can be used to clear fear we hold in our second chakra, specifially fear around intimacy and sexuality.
