This class will focus on building our relationship with our herbal allies. Each class will focus in-depth on one or more herbal medicines and we will learn how they work both physically and energetically . We’ll learn recipes & other ways to incorporate the plants into our lives.

Plants we covered included chamomile, passionflower, lemon balm, pericón, cempazuchitl, scullcap, CA poppy, lavendar, rose, reishi and ashwaganda.
The key is building relationships with plants. We must decolonize our way of thinking about plants. They are not objects or commodities. Plants are our relatives. They are our elders. They are living beings with vast intelligence and capabilities.
In these turbulent times, when I’ve lost faith in humankind, I turn to the plants. The plants love us unconditionally and have been helping humans since the beginning of time. They provide us food, shelter, clothing, medicine, spiritual guidance and beauty. They give us life every moment we breathe and take in their oxygen.
