It’s broom crafting time! We’re excited to host Bethany Ridenour aka @ladyursus for a a magical evening of broom crafting Friday, October 26th. .
“Brooms are used around the world for daily and ritual cleansing of spaces. A broom is an important part of making a safe and sacred space. In this three hour class you will learn the basics of Broom Craft. We will each make a turkey wing broom like in the picture to take home and use in our own daily cleansing rituals.”

Meet the Teacher! Francine Madrid’s class Matriz Sagrada starts Saturday, October 13th and we still have spots open. .
“My path to this work began as a child in the kitchens, gardens and living rooms of my Grandmothers. I would sit and listen quietly as they exchanged old stories, remedios (herbal remedies), took care of grandbabies and doled out advice. When I had my own children, the wise words of my Grandmothers came back to me. I went on to formally study massage and bodywork, herbalism and birth; and what I found was that all of these practices are intricately and beautifully woven together within my own ancestral knowledge. With gratitude, I thank my teachers and elders for the opportunity to walk this ancient path.”
