Last night I shared my love for making amari with some wonderful folx. I’m new to teaching and I’m learning as I teach (about teaching!) My anxiety and insecurities can really creep in and navigate, but I’ve learned to deeply support myself preventively with all the tools I have so that days like yesterday when I woke up at 4am and was on all day, into the night, I could be present and confident. .
I randomly was sent some ancestor photos from a cousin yesterday, one of them of my grandmother. I felt that was my Nonna’s support and blessing to share our cultures ancient remedy.🌿Our ancestors are with us whether we acknowledge them or not. And when we do open and listen and honor them, it’s one of the most spirit aligning experiences we can hold. It’s magic, it’s simple and it’s divine. May you listen to those who came before you, honor them, heal them, and importantly not repeat any harm they inflicted on themselves and others, including our home, Mother Earth.
