When did your ancestors become white?
What agreements were made to uphold whiteness in community and family?
What agreements were made to uphold white supremacy?
What was lost along the way?
What was forgotten and how do we remember?
We’ll address these questions and more in this 2 hour introductory workshop on ancestral healing designed for people of European descent aka white folks. Facilitated by Kara Wood and Erin Caitlin Sweeney, we’ll explore how white supremacy & settler colonialism show up in our ancestry, community, and selves and we’ll tap into the wisdom and resiliency of our ancestors.
Participants will leave with tools and resources to support them in their ancestral healing journeys. These will be element and plant centered connection tools that are non culturally appropriative. Folks new to antiracism and ancestral healing work are encouraged to join us, as well as those deep in the work.
All proceeds for this workshop go toward supporting the sustainability of Ancestral Apothecary School.
