We’re raising money for our student of color scholarship fund for our 2020 Cecemmana class. We will have about 35 students enrolled next year, the majority of whom are people of color. Many of our students depend on scholarship to help them cover the cost of tuition. Please make a donation today to help make sure our herbal community in the Bay Area is reflective of all the diverse communities that live here!

🌿🎉a big CONGRATULATIONS to our Cecemmana 2 grads!!! 🌿🎉
As the year starts to come to an end, we have much to be grateful for in our Ancestral Apothecary community. We had many students come to the school for our introductory Herbal Allies course, to learn spiritual and plant medicine in the Curanderx Toolkit series, and to learn Caribbean and African traditional medicines, among many other classes. We are so grateful to our community of teachers, students, and allies who are sharing these deep ancestral practices for the healing of people, plants, and our communities. Next year we will be welcoming not just one, but two new cohorts to the Cecemmana program - a 300 hour training to provide students a solid foundation in the art, science & spirituality of herbal medicine. Dozens of people applied to the program before registration was even publicized - a testament to the call people hear to deepen their relationship to plant medicine in an inclusive, multicultural environment. We will be welcoming over thirty students, the majority of whom are students of color. Over the past few months, we have raised about $5000 for a Student of Color scholarship fund through classes and other fundraising efforts. We are looking to raise $7500 more by the end of the year to support our incoming students. Please consider giving to our scholarship fund (link in bio) and helping us spread the word.
